<p>I believe most medical schools prefer the 1-series. And you’ll only receive two units from 16B after taking 1A.</p>
<p>If you have no interest in studying more advanced mathematics, just take whatever series is easiest. Medical schools will neither know the difference between them nor will they care. Calculus is not used in any classes or clinical rotations in medical school.</p>
