Hi,
Should I take a pre-calculus class or AP Statistics. The pre-calculus class will include a review of Algebra 2 and Geometry as well as a preview of AP Calculus. I plan to take calculus afterwards, but I really want to take AP Statistics. Can someone please tell me the pros and cons of taking AP Statistics and self-studying pre-calculus.
Thanks

I just need the picture of taking a pre-calculus class vs. AP Statistics

I don’t know how good you are at math, but as long as you learn what is necessary for AP Calculus (which shouldn’t be much if its mainly just review/preview) then go ahead and take AP Statistics.

Self-study whichever you’re more confidant about. If your school has a good AP stats teacher, self-study precalc and vice versa. Precalc and stats are both simple enough to self-study. At my school, ap stats is trickier, so if I was in your position, I’d self-study precalc.

Take precalc next year and calc + stats the year after that?

take precalc then calc then stat or take pre calc then calc and stat at the same time.

Unless you are going to be a STEM major, definitely take stats. Otherwise take stats anyway and self-study Pre-Calc, which is completely unnecessary in all schools.
