Math for March SAT 2009

No.

10 characters.

I though it was easy

I thought the opposite in comparison to the January SAT, but I actually took an hour or two to prepare this time. I finished these sections with time to check over my work.

It was easy.

Is there any way to sign up for the next test date and then cancel it if my scores are good? I'm planning on doing the SAT IIs in June, and I'd like to do the SAT again in May if my scores aren't so hot. I could always sign up during the late period, but I don't want to pay the late fee if possible.

When is the embargo lifted? After the west coast finishes?

I think I did okay but my results always don't reflect how I feel afterward lol. I thought CR was pretty confusing though. I also had an experimental CR section which pretty much drained me.

Lol, don't show up. Or just take 'em again. It's only $45 and it doesn't hurt.

I think what we are doing right now is illegal. I don't know. I was too busy trying to remember cursive, rather than understand what the hell I was writing.

Seriously. That part had to have been the hardest. I just wrote in print and drew little lines connecting all my letters. They must think I am retarded.

I had two CR back-to-back as well, the latter of which I found quite difficult (and thus hope was experimental). I'll wait until the embargo's lifted to discuss, but yeah, the second one better have been exp.

Yeah, I thought the second one was harder. It think it was either the mom/daughter one or programmer/author one...my memory's getting ****tier every day.

I was quite surprised at the difficulty of section 2. I was a little harder than the previous sats'. Usually I finish with 10-15 minutes left but this time I felt pressured for time. Then again, it could be because this was my first sat.

Cursive was such a pain... I'm pretty slow writing in cursive and other kids in the room took like 3-5min to finish writing.

I left one blank in section 2 only because I was too lazy to think about it and knew that if I somehow came up with an answer it's most likely wrong since my reasoning is usually flawed in problems such as that. So yeah, the rest were a breeze.

^ Not everybody had the same material for section 2.

yes there were a couple ones where i was like HUH

the fill-ins were tricky =[. the rest was pretty easy.

When I can see the traces of the like "math things to remember" through the last few questions of my critical reading sections which I have undoubtedly aced, I want to cry a little bit about the horror on the next page. I hate math so much. This was no different.

hmm i remember 1 of the fill-ins was tricky - like i got the fraction but when converted to decimal form, i had to round it up .. not sure if i did it right though everything most certainly made sense in my pov.

other than that i thought math went well - loved having a math experimental but didn't like how i had 2 math sections in a row :(

The fill-ins were uber tricky.

Yeah, the P one. I always get experimental math and feel the most confident about them.

I don't want to say how I think did because I'll jinx myself :(

But that being said, there was never really a point where I felt completely stuck on one question, which I guess is a good sign?

I though the essay topic was easier (many examples) but my intro was a LOT worse than the Jan. one
