and also the one that gave 3 equations with variables a, b, and c. what did you guys get as c?

@keraloop

 1. real and imaginary -> letter A
 2. median
 3. imaginary -> i used quadratic formula
 4. -7
 5. length was 10

-imaginary… Cuz I dont think there will be any root for that.
-f(7) = -1
-diagonal should be 10
-c=9

^Booberrypi 78. Since it’s symmetric. So f(7) = f(-1)… I believe that one should be -1

i got these

real and imaginary -> letter A

median

imaginary

f(7) = -1

length was 10

jansatomg is right. what was the real and imaginary question?

For the cone and cylinder comparison (the one talking about water). Did you get the answer, 3?

@siddg911 there was a graph with 1 point on the “re” axis and one on the “Im” axis

@Booberrypi78 yes the answer is 3.

@sohamD ohhhh! yeah it was A. the answer was like -2 + 2i

What do you think the curve will be like? Some review books say 43/50 is an 800

Do you guys think the curve will be a little more lenient than usual this time? I feel like I never saw at least 3-4 of the questions on practice exams before. :(

Left 8 blank and potentially got 2-3 wrong, is 750 possible?

there was also this one question (that’s a complete blur to me now haha) where the choices were 1.6, 1.0 or .6 and you had to figure out which one the function didn’t cover i believe. did anyone get that?

The answer was 0.5 the function was f(x) = 1 + sqrt (3x - 5).

@keraloop the answer was .5. the question was like “1+sqr(x^2.5)” the minimum the sqaureroot could be was 0 so anything less than 1 was implausible.

Imho the curve would be über generous (like 800 over 40)
I missed around 4 q’s and guessed 1-2…
anyone know the answer for cosine value for trialgle with side 4,5,6 (I think)

@jerry, i got the value to be 1/8th using law of cosines(c^2=a^2+b^2-2abcosC)

What did you get for the f(x)=abs(f(x))? I got x^2.

^Iwillkill, I also got that

Ughhhh the one with the diagonal of the ABCD rectangle confused me so I skipped it. I ended up going back to it and got hte answer just as time was called. The procter then grabbed my scantron so I didn’t have time to fill it in

@iWillKillForMIT correct cuz in other functions FX goes negative (or y value) FX should be always positive to be FX =|fx|
