I was accepted today as an external transfer into Mays. One of the 75 slots went to me and for anyone else that is waiting or hoping, I say just keep your head up. This was my 3rd time applying to TAMU and my 2nd for business. I know I had to kill most of my classes and the essays and I'm glad I was capable.

Because I've been rejected, now accepted and everything. If anyone has questions about the process or stats or anything, don't hesitate...

My AIS changed to Step 4 sometime in the night and then I got paranoid this morning because it was so early. With the deadline being just a week ago. Lol…But the My Record and My Finance Tabs came onto Howdy as well, and Step 5 appeared by the time I got back from my noon class.

Yep, It’s official. I got the letter this morning. Thanks for the comments everyone…

Police, I have like 100 total hours because I also have an A.S. in Audio Engineering, but they ended up taking 70 that transferred. GPA on Howdy showed a 3.82.

I had one letter of rec that was okay, he was a professor I had in AgEcon last semester. I had the highest grade in the class. Ummm. I had like 10 hours of volunteering, all over a year ago. Lol…I was told by the TAMU advisors that all the other stuff is not bad, but it ultimately comes down to GPA in the right classes and essays everytime.

A few problems I see. All students have to take 60 hours in-house at TAMU to graduate with their bachelor’s. So you would definately be pushed back…also, are you saying you are almost a senior at another university or just have alot of hours from a CC? I don’t think they like accepting upper-division coursework…

In my case, I have 97 total hours, but they didn’t accept 30 of my music courses b/c they aren’t transferable. Plus, I believe 9 of the courses they did accept can’t be used or are uneeded for a BBA, but they still factor into My transfer GPA. Long…lol.

Nah, i am just stating an example. I just want to add up some knowledge about this stuffs. I am new Texas and just moved to US 1.5 years ago… So yeah.

Ok so now, i am now in a my local CC and they offered a course specifically for them only, would this count as a number of hours? and counted in the GPA? I dun know if you get it…
So if those number of hours they dont accept, would their GPAs be not accepted too?
