McGill vs. UCLA vs. UCSD in Biochemitry/Life Science

My son got admitted to UCLA, UCSD and McGill University. While he is going to the campus tours again to feel campus spirit, weather, and cultural fit personally, I would like to get some objective analysis and advices for the potential academic training, personal (social) development, and future professional perspective among these three Universities.
Currently, his intended profession is to be a research scientist or professor in biology or biochemistry. He understands the competitiveness of becoming a professor, which at least requires a doctor degree as well as post doctoral research in prestigious universities.
I would like to ask your advices on following questions:

  1. If he keeps his passion in biology and biochemistry, which school is likely the best for him to get admitted to a prestigious graduate school in these areas after college?
  2. If he keeps his passion in biology and biochemistry, and decides to start working in biomedical or pharmaceutical industry, which school are likely the most attractive to US biomedical and pharmaceutical company after college?
  3. If he wants to change his major to engineering or business, which school is likely to be the best choice?
  4. If he wants to go to medical school after college, which school is likely to offer him the best training for medical school admission?
  5. Also, attending UCLA and UCSD likely cost my family $120K more than his attending McGill for four year college would the benefit of attending UCLA and UCSD offset the cost?
In the end, I would support his decision whenever he wants to go. I am just help him to collect if consider all aspects to make the likely best decision.
