i like .5 mechanical. it makes my writing look better. not nearly as smudgy as thicker lead.

when i took the SAT i had like 30 wooden pencils because they wouldnt let us use mechanical. everyone laughed at me. but whenever a pencil became dull AT ALL...i would just change. i went through like 20 pencils during the test. i hate dullness

:)
I really don't like sharpeners because they break the pencil lead, so I started to use a knife to sharpen my pencils. (Or maybe I just have bad sharpeners, I don't know)

I used to collect mechanical pencils when in elementary school and those are lovable, now i just use pen or wooden because all my collection is starting losing as I start use them... I loved .9mm mechanicals

I am an addict for CUTE MECHANICAL PENCILS! Whenever I go into places where I live, like Kinokuniya or Oppa, I just can’t resist at least getting a pencil haha

I hate mechanical pencils because you end up wasting so much lead.

I generally use pens to do everything, but occasionally I have to take out my trusty Black Mirado Warrior (which is now 3 inches long). My music teacher has the greatest pencil sharpener in the world, so I don’t have to worry about it being too dull.

I like a nice, sharp wooden pencil, but to keep it as sharp as I want it requires high maintenance (and I’m lazy), so usually it’s .7 mechanical or a good pen. But it has to be a really good pen, otherwise it’ll irritate the hell out of me.

mostly i like mechanical (Pentel Energize .7mm in PURPLE) for everyday use, because wooden pencil lead HATES me, but wooden ticonderogas are AWESOME for scantron (i like yellow better than black, it just seems more academic). plus I hate it when my writing doesn’t flow because some is fine and some is thick. bleargh.

on a rather unrelated note, what kind of pens do you guys like? i prefer Bic Atlantis in black.

Mechanical is much neater, consistent, and I don’t have to sharpen it. I switch between 0.5mm for the neatness factor, and 0.7mm because I can add more variation to it (sometimes I get ahold of a 1.3mm lol).

Pen - Uniball Vision Purple is my absolute favorite. Use it for taking notes, writing (informal) essays, etc. I find it complements my cursive handwriting quite wonderfully.

I love my .7mm BIC mechanical pencils! They’re consistent and make my handwriting neat. I almost went crazy today during the SAT. Those stupid wooden pencils kept going dull on me, and made my writing look like crap. ugh.

BTW, why aren’t mechanical pencils allowed on the SAT anyways?

I like mechanical. Wooden was really bad for me. I really like my pencils to be sharp, and back in elementary school I used to go through a pencil a day. My teachers had to ban me from the sharpener. I’m much happier now with mechanical.
