merit scholarships

is anyone else a merit scholarship finalist?!

im rly nervous for that interview =/!

My daughter received an email about the scholarships the day before she got a letter telling her she had been accepted. A little confusing at first. Do you know what the interviews are like or how many are being considered for each award? She was told she is a candidate for a rather substantial scholarship from the art department. We live in the Southwest so it is fairly costly and time consuming to make the trek east for that interview, but the amount involved would certainly make it worthwhile if she has a chance to get it.

Yeah, I'm a finalist too.
What department are you being interviewed by? I might just meet you there.
I'm Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, or something like that.

My friend and I are both finalists. We're both pretty qualified; I don't think they'd ask you to make the trip if there weren't some significant chance that you would get the scholarship.

Curious, what other schools are you guys looking at?

congratulations meesh : )

other schools..

&am awaiting on emmanuel college in boston

a member of the politics department is who i'll be meeting with

Cool!
Hey, you never know, you might just see me next week after all.

Congratulations on all of those!

Uh-oh... So does that mean if we haven't heard anything by now about scholarships, we're not getting any?

Hm, I don't know.

They didn't mention anything about Tower, Zacharias, or... crap, I forget what the other one is called, in the letter/e-mail both my friend and I got.

I'm still hoping for Tower, so I hope the answer is no. You never know, I think there is still hope.
