MISSED UF HOUSING CONTRACT DEADLINE... what are my chances?

Hi! I’m an international freshman admitted to UF for the 2020 fall.

I applied for housing on campus on November 15th, so quite early, yet I missed the housing contract’s April 1st deadline, which was then extended to April 14th (and I didn’t know because I wasn’t notified).

Today, it’s April 15th, so I missed the deadline again (I swear I didn’t know there was an April 14th deadline, the contract offer was just “still accepting” when checked YESTERDAY, so I didn’t think it’d end a few hours later!).

Anyways, I’m now waitlisted… What are my chances of getting a traditional double? At Broward hall?

I know I missed the contract deadline, but I still applied early and that’s supposed to matter… right?
Thanks if you answer, it’ll be very much appreciated

I’m trying to be a transfer student, but I have not gotten a decision yet so I can’t complete the housing contract. Does this mean I have no chance of getting on campus housing?
