MIT Class of 2015 Early Action Hopefuls

BAHHHHH. Help. Please.

I live in the west coast and I had no idea it went by Cambridge time (now I feel pretty stupid)… So I submitted it a few minutes after the deadline… Am I completely screwed now? Will they still consider me for regular? (I’m not really sure where/who to ask…)

I’m having a mini heart attack right now. -.-.

11:59 PM submitting app lol

I just had to keep working on that darn where you come from essay!

Our fate is officially out of our hands. :)

Submitted part 2 last night… came up with a way better essay idea midday today…

…and so begins my college application season…

wom wom wommmmm. hahaha

Oh, crap. Very crap.

I just looked back over my application and I realized that I swapped the positions of the background essay and the challenge essay.

=x.

Woohooo all EA MIT apps are in!!! Now to wait… I have been so happy these past two days just knowing that it’s out of my hands! Best of luck to everyone!

wooo did anybody else have a weird feeling in their stomach when they pressed submit? i was so nervous/excited/every other emotion possible hahah ive wanted to go to MIT forever

So did anyone build a nuclear reactor this year? XD

^I built an atomic bomb.

I called it Obese Hombre.

hahahaha are any of you going to tune in to the MIT Webcast thing? :)

Yessss… I sat there for a good minute running through my whole application in my head trying to remember if I forgot anything… even though I already physically checked through it about ten times. haha.

@charizarrd
Ohhh ya… When is that again?

I guess I’m a little late to the party but I submitted part 2 around October 15th. My lack of ridiculous aptitude for math still haunts me, but at this point I’m pretty glad it’s not up to me anymore.

Did early here and chicago, overall fairly happy with my application because there are no glaring kinks, but there also aren’t any glaring strengths so we’ll see. Good luck to all.

so… just to revive this thread a bit… where is everyone from? haha :)

Pensacola, Florida. Representing the Panhandle (CST ftw).

Its all about the SoCal sun!

SD checking in

Livingston, New Jersey. Kind of the Jew capital of this state (no joke). My school pretty much defines the phrase “competitive public.”

Right outside of Boston! Only a train ride away

A small town in Indiana, between Indianapolis and Bloomington. Not many Hoosiers here (hoosiers are people from Indiana, no one knows its origin). I hope to attend college in a big city, after living in slow, rural Indiana all my life.

I used to live in New Jersey, too! :)
