<p>I would go with MITES considering the fact that if you do make it into Intel it will be your senior year after college decisions. so that wouldn't really help your college resume. unless your doing it for the experience then going to Intel would be cool.</p>

So basically if they are looking for potential then it would depend ALOT on your essays and letter of recs.
wildchartermage, you shouldn't think so about yourself. If you have the potential and have not accomplished anything, that means that you just never had the opportunity(MITES wants to provide those opportunities). And anyways, potentials can always be developed, its not something you just get when you are born. If you have the heart, the desire, the perseverance and an optimistic view, then you can have the potential!</p>
<p>i'm asian too. but my stats are not half as good. :P my SAT is only a 1940. (I think im going to take the ACT.) </p>

<p>I'm from a low income family and my school doesn't offer that many APs (10 I think) so right now my weighted GPA is 4.1 and unweighted is 3.94. i guess its okay, considering that our valedictorians only have around high 4.2. I've only taken one AP- Biology so far (5 YAY!) . But I'm also taking 5 APs/Honor junior year. I've been on varsity for 2 sports since freshmen year & I've been on leadership all three years & will be senior class president next year (not mentioned in app since i was jst recently elected). those are the two things that i'm passionate about. </p>
<p>& only one of parents went to college, the other one is a high school graduate. </p>

<p>where do they ask you to send them the arrival time? i would suppose the arrival time is the one where you arrive in mass. i leave from ft lauderdale airport at 3 in the afternoon, arrive at 6 25 pm. in there, ai already lost most of the fist day -_-. but where do they ask you for the time? and did you already send in your stuff?</p>
