lol but my teacher only puts special ppls name on the problems laughs arrogantly lol jk he probalby puts everyone's

haha
you must be very special :-P
what math are you in?
i'm in BC calc, i don't think we get a lot of problems with people in them

our school does this queer thing i dunno what it means
we combined PRECALC and BC CALC into one so it's like
year one: bc calc 1 (which is really precalc and 1/2 of bc calc)
year two: bc calc 2 (which is bc calc + number theory and other post-calc stuff)

hmm guys EEK what if i have absolutely NO robotics/computer programming? like absolutely none at all? i left that section blank?

mine is kind of like that, but we just call the first year math 12 honors
you get to do post-calc stuff? awesome!
i wish i had a math class for next year, i dunno what im gonna do
my school is dumb and wont provide a class for the 5 kids who'll be done with BC calc before senior year

its a good think if you have no robotics/programming experience. they say they want you to have little or none. all they want to know is that you are good at math/science but don't know if youre into engineering.
i think the purpose of that section is to weed out any applicants who already know the material they plan to teach, so if you don't then youre safe
don't worry about it!

i have the opposite problem, i DO have a little experience and im worrying whether or not i should write it down
i don't think it's enough to hurt me though...

maybe don't put as much as you have
like tune it down

mhm, maybe
hey, do you know that part with the boxes where you write the grades you encountered it, and there's one for word and powerpoint and stuff?
i dont get that, who hasn't worked with word? i didn't learn it in a class though, should i just check self-study?

I found myself checking off quite a few of those boxes.
::worries::

SWEET.

My math teacher just emailed and said he would be willing to write a rec! I'm in the clear!

now for those essays....lol

yeah, i think i had way too many boxes checked off
but im not sure about some of them
at least i don't have engineering checked :)

wow i have no clue whether or not my essays are absolutely horrible or amazing

i think you'll be fine
they dont have to be actual "essays"
so im assuming they just care about how you answer the question, and what that says about you

haha ugh even worse :) my answers are all BS sorry but they sound...lyrical?

i kinda really exagerrated some stuff

haha
i'm sure they're fine

i think i did a pretty good job on mine
but im just worried because im sure there are a lot more that are better, and it's so selecitve

haha i know we haven;'t even sent in applications yet but does anyone when we mite get decisions back ^__^

decisions are mailed april 10th

wow pretty late

yeah :(
i cant believe we have to wait that long
gah i was so worried about it all day
i still dunno if i should get rid of anything that makes it look like i already know comp sci

Well, you could always check "Mechanical Engineering" to show that you are open to a different experience.

That is, unless you really want to do EECS.

i dont think there's harm in taking it off, unless they somehow find out. if it's not something they would find out (ie you got a 5 on the ap compsci test) then you should hide it
