That’s me. I hate speaking in class.

RioBravo, I’m the same way. I just started watching Friday Night Lights – it was all about Prison Break and Friends before that. As you can see, I’m a huge TV person.

Annoying behaviors- when people on CC changes what the thread is about :)

went from annoying stuff to tv shows lol

yo *in the wire is some good * you know *in avon be up in this. * all them east side **es. yo and *in omar be creepin protect ya neck kids.

@Smorg I hear FNL is pretty good though. My favorite show is probably 24. I also greatly enjoyed the first season of The Wire and have been meaning to watch the rest. Right now I’ve got the whole first season of Community waiting to be watched, but I’ve been busy with listening to music all day…

Rio, I’ve been meaning to watch The Wire. FNL is great – the first season was amazing; I’m on the third season right now. Shame it ended.

The first season is a slow boil but once it gets going it’s really good.

Yeah…people who complain about fan service in anime, for instance, seem to forget about the massive amount of sex that is shown, partially shown, or alluded to on most american television nowadays. Er…I shouldn’t talk about anime, because then I’ll reveal how much I know about it. And that isn’t good. Just let it be known that girls who constantly freak out about anime need two good slaps in the face. It’s just another show girls, now get on with your life. Stop giving anime/manga a bad rep, please?

I’ve always found the people who just constantly ask you for your things(paper, books, pencils, etc etc) are very annoying. I don’t mind people asking, and I would like to get my writing utensils back, but I almost never do. And then when I say, “No, I’m afraid not” I get yelled at like I’m a bad person. Well, not yelled at, but…I’ve certainly gotten people ****ed at me over small things like that before. Oh well.

Not to mention people who will talk to you when they’re alone, and then just drop you like a anvil the next second because they find a group they like even better. “Uh, okay…sorry for not being interesting enough for you?” Same with school friends who only talk to you because they’re bored/have no “good friends” in that class/area at the time. Oh, how many times have I been dropped by people like that? Oh so many. It gets tiring because you’re trying to have a conversation with them and then they just disappear. shakes head No problem that they have other friends, but maybe they shouldn’t be so nice to me if I’m just a object for entertainment. I guess I just like friends who hang out with me because they have a desire to do so.

Well said man, well said.

Ikr? i now have a policy that i only share if a friend needs something. :)

Got another one, those who make unnessisary messes for the food staff to clean up. I once walked by a table and this guy had taken katchup and mustered and ‘drew’ all over the hamburger baskets (the washable kind), his tray, and part of the table… Like really now?

Okay, that’s just gross. I stopped doing stuff like that in elementary school, possibly before then. That’s about as bad as the people who put parts of their lunches in their drinks and make other people drink it.

yep yep.

What about the students who leave their laundry in the laundry room ALL DAY, sitting in the machines? Ugh, they annoy the crap out of me. My school only has like 20 machines of each and its enevitable that most of them are full. ><

^The normal protocol is to just put their clothes on top and let them worry about it.

In hs, people texting under the desks or in their sweatshirts, people smacking gum, and people acting like life is going to wait for them to catch up on their maturity levels.

It annoys me when people try to show off how overly weird they are. One guy at my school rides around on a unicycle and another guy wears a Scottish quilt every day. We get it…you’re weird.

It annoys me when people try to dress like a frat d.ouche just to try to fit in. I see the people who wear the backwards frat hats and boat shoes just to make up for the fact that they weren’t “cool” in high school.

People who overly drink to the point of ridiculousness. Don’t get me wrong, I like to drink, but I don’t go around showing off that my gatorade thermos actually is full of Jack Daniels.

People who raise their hand every 5 seconds in small classes. No sir, you are not Martin Luther King Jr., you are just a college kid with a really strong opinion.

Those people that speak with constant grammatical mistakes and who use verbal crutches like “um” and “like” every five seconds.

^ I sometimes make constant grammatical mistakes in my speech, but English is not my first language and I’m not good at verbal communication. Even though I speak better than my mother who still makes many grammatical errors in her speech, I still make mistakes as well. And I use “um” whenever I don’t know what to say and use it as a filler word while I scramble for the right vocabulary. Again, not a good verbal communicator here.

You do realize that boat shoes are not restricted to a single clique, right?

People who are overly judgmental based on aesthetics alone.

@kindaslick89, People who are “overly weird” aren’t doing it to annoy you. They’re doing what they love. So if he wants to ride his unicycle or wear a Scottish quilt, why not? It’s not something you have to “get”. I believe that everyone should be able to be themselves.

I think kindaslick was more along the lines of people trying to prove, “Oh, I am SO shocking to know”. I don’t care if people want to be weird; we’ve all got our little idiosyncrasies.

People who interrupt professor

People who ask stupid questions because they weren’t paying attention

People who don’t pay attention

People who talk loudly in class

People who borrow things and don’t return them

People who put too much cologne/perfume on

People who don’t shower regularly

People who don’t turn ringers off(of course it can be forgiven if it happens a couple times on accident, but EVERYDAY!?!?!?!?)

Just the encounters I have had so far since I attended my first and only Summer Semester Class, before I start my Freshmen Classes in Fall.

I don’t see how anyone can get upset with other people for merely not paying attention. Assuming they aren’t doing anything distracting, who cares? How does that affect you?

To be fair, you don’t actually know how often someone showers unless you make it your personal mission to find out. Someone could shower irregularly and smell fine or shower everyday and still stink. Just sayin’. People who smell bad are the problem.

I shower regularly, btw.
