<p>Thanks soozievt! D. is definitely floating about ten feet off the ground, in fact she wouldn't let me post here until she had talked to the Dept. twice to confirm. I think she was really scared to believe it! There's a lovely release of tension at our house. Thanks too for keeping us straight alphabetically speaking. I am a bit computer challenged at times.</p>

<p>lilcosette, Thank you! D. obviously was thrilled. She auditioned on campus 12/6/08 and received notification via "check your status" on their website 1/14/09. We had been checking the website fairly frequently but hadn't been obsessive about it so I'm not sure how long it had been posted. The confirmation letter came about ten days later...D. called twice to confirm...she was afraid to believe it until she had paper in hand. Computers are immediate gratification but there's still something about that hard copy!! I do know that CCM notifies fairly quickly, usually within a couple of weeks. The holidays postponed some notifications from Dec. auditions,(I think). With Unifieds just over I'm sure they have many to review so that may delay a bit as well?? Just guessing. "no's" went out fairly quickly so no news is good news when you're in that nail biting waiting period. Did you "do" Unifieds? How were they?

<p>Unifieds are not over;') they are now in Chicago and then move on to LA. Usually there is a delay in hearing anything until they all get back to campus and review all the candidates from the three sites. Many of these schools also have more auditions on site the next few weeks so everyone should try to stay calm and patient. The best thing to do during this waiting period is get very busy with some fun activites to have a distraction. I hope every candidated lands at a school they will love! Good Luck.</p>
<p>Yeah! I can guarantee unifieds ain't done. Its "Hell Week" as my D calls it. We are in SF and LA starting Friday through Monday. Its California's turn! All these little Hollywood babies are about to take the stage.....</p>
<p>ttmom, You are so right...We were supposed to be in Chicago and I forgot they continued through tomorrow?? "Break a leg" to all that are auditioning! We're sending "lovely thoughts" your way..so...FLY!!!</p>
