Ignore mj93. His percentages are absurd. He takes the actual chance of the OP being accepted and then divides by 2. He's a dirty troll.

This kid's stats are significantly better than the average JHU applicant, so mj93, how can he have a 25% chance of being accepted???? I'm pretty sure the acceptance rate for valedictorians at Hopkins is about 60%.

(deep exhale).. i know its obvious but its gettin real tough to maintain my valedcitorian status, hoewever i am still there, i just gotta keep a constant mind. my sister got into jhu early but then she lost her valdiecitoyian on a semseter final exam... ive been workin extremely hard though tryin to balance SATs, school work, and AP test.

ive been practicin on my sats alot and ive seen to increase my math score signicicatntly but am in a standstill on reading, i dont no what i can do, i need motivation or somthin to keep me focused on those stupid lonnnnnng passages..

anwways is it true that my test scores are the only thing holdin me back right noW? but i heard that harvard rejected half its perfect scores, does that give mea good chance? i mean dont colleges know that some kids are brilliant just not the best test takers? thats why i tried my best to get really good ECs so it cud make up for my mistakes...

No Chance !!! Sorry. Did you give any thought to Community College- I hear they have some great programs for people in your "situation"...

Good Luck!!! : )

DO NOT EVER PUT REC BASKETBALL AS AN EC- although u have good ec's- rec bball is an insult- if ben rountree can play rec bball that means dont put it on ur college app

haha yea i was plannin to 'edit' that. i just nee d another way to tell the college adcoms that i particapate in soccer and basketball leagues so they dont think that im just some nerd and that i acutally have some atheltics and am wellrounded.

stevenp, useless comment, even if u were serious... noob

Hahahahahahhaha!!!!!!!! Sorry, but that is the funniest EC I have ever heard of. Thank God, because if you were to put down Rec B-Ball captain, I'm pretty certain that every single college would reject you. And Sanders, rec b-ball star is Dan Nallen's #1 EC. Check that....Looking up naked, fat black women on Google is.

haha alright im embarrased enuf, is there any way or reason why i should put basketball/soccer leagues as one of my ECs on my resume? I just want them to know that i can split my time to have a social life and atheltics as well as academics,, or should i just cut the whole thing out

ps. i got into governors school with the rec thing on my resume. only 100 kids get in in the whole state of pa. i thought thats pretty good there. i guess THEY liked it. but o well

pss. should i keep travel soccer in there? cuz u have to be selected to play in that

comments plz
