My chances?

<p>My stats r pretty bad, but I would like to know my chances regardless.</p>

<p>I'm currently a junior in-state(does it help to say that im asian?).
3.8 GPA (94-100 = 4, 90-93 = 3.5 and so on) Fresh: 3.75, Soph:3.68, Jun:4.04</p>

<p>SAT scores 800 M, 640 V, 630 W, english was not my first language
5 APs junior year, 6 APs planned for my seinior year</p>

<p>planned Enginineering major. </p>

<p>AP classes taken: English language/comp, Calc BC, Stat, Computer Science, Chemistry
AP classes im taking next year: English literature/comp, Multivar Calc/Matrix algebra, Physics C, Biology, Chinese</p>

<p>EC
Math honor society
member of math team
member of forensics team
volunteer at a daycare center
National music association's Piano elementary level award(gonna get the advance level in a month or two)
U.S. National wushu/kungfu federation member
Internship at a software company
participated in 2006 National U.S. Junior wushu team trials</p>

<p>I know it doesnt look too good, but is there any hope? I know I can raise that GPA in my senior year, but does UVa look at that for any reason other than did ur grades drop? I took the SATs 2 times already and i uhh... actually did worse the second time by 20 points.... I'm thinking about taking it again and was wondering if I should, cuz I heard that the SATs get harder and harder as the year progresses. My GPA looks pretty bad too, and thats weighted... my unweighted is like 3.6. Will they also give consideration based on my ethnicity?</p>

<p>Saying you are Asian would probably hurt you, since they're overrepresented at UVA. What's your class ranking?</p>

<p>Really? 11% counts as ORM? Lol, that's shocking to me where we're 99.9% Asian here. I would've thought Asians would be ORM at say.. the UC's instead.</p>

<p>US is about 4.5% Asian. UVA is 11% Asian. Asians are clearly overrepresented.</p>
