<p>Do you guys know anything about this? <a href="http://www.nshss.org%5B/url%5D">www.nshss.org</a> - National Society of High School Scholars.....i got a postcard in the mail saying I got nominated...is it a scam? lol...i'm kind of confused.</p>

<p>I received that in the mail too. It seems similar to Who's Who if you ask me.</p>
<p>Well it sounded more legit than Who's Who because it has actual conferences and stuff..is there anyone who is paid to be part of it before? (and that's how you know whether or not it's a scam)</p>
<p>i paid the fifty bucks because it puts you in the running for some scholarships. you can submit a paper you wrote, or just be in a drawing for a some money.</p>
<p>i dont think its very prestigious or whatever, but it seemed worth it if there are scholarship opportunitites</p>
<p>Yeah, it's definitely a scam in my opinion. Also, I should tell them that the letter they just sent me was kind of pointless considering I'm not in high school anymore :p</p>
