National Youth Leadership Nominations

I got these nominations throughout high school. I looked into it once, found out that it's about summer programs that cost several thousand dollars. I didn't think much of, that these nominations are really just bulk mail outs in hopes someone will sign up.

Am I correct? Because as I look over them again they hint at a more personal recommendation "in recognition of" such and such or "in honor of your" such and such "ability" with my name printed on thick fancy paper hinting that I am the, not a, school nominee which I doubt.

Just wondering if it's worth putting on a resume or as an honor. Specifically in relation to an invitation to a LeadAmerica Conference and a Global Young Leaders Conference.

Thanks.

In regards to a resume, is it a bad idea to send resumes to everywhere I apply?

You were correct on your first guess; they're money-making programs above anything else. They send out invitations in bulk (most of them get your name from the PSAT) - getting one is definitely NOT worth listing on your application.
