So, I like Navy and all...but gimme a break, I get my Summer Seminar letter today only to read that:

"All NASS tuition payments and registration forms must be postmarked to later than the 15th of April. No extensions will be granted. If you do not respond by this date, your selection for Summer Seminar will be canceled and your seat will be offered to another candidate."

BULL! I got the letter on the 17th, am I supposed to ascend into the heavens, become a god, and roll back time to make their dang deadline? Yea, maybe in my next life. I mean c'mon, rediculous, just rediculous...if they reject me...ohhhhhh I WILL unleash the fury of the gods. I'll ascend, become a god, and personally send a lightning bolt to USNA...

Quickly, call the Naval Academy and discuss it. What was the date on the letter? Usually it is a by the 15th or within two weeks of receiving the letter, whichever is later rule. That is how it is for our permit to report package for plebe summer.

EDIT: for anyone reading this in the same situation, another thread has stated that after e-mailing USNA about the issue, a response to "Send information as soon as possible" was recieved.

Dash-9...Don't EVER send a lightning bolt to USNA. That place is damn awesome and you know it haha. Whenever I see that place, it's like the skies have opened up around it.

Go Navy!---And of course beat those soldiers, airmen, and coasties...which I'm sure that's already the goal based on the fact that you're all reading this post.
