I am currently enrolled at a community college. At the end of this semester I'll be earning my associates. I had applied to UIC, NEIU. I got denied at UIC and NEIU looks the only option for me right now. I Plan to major in pharmacy and I have 4 classes left before I take the PCATS and apply to a pharmacy school. I really wanted to go to UIC but I'm really dejected at the moment and dont have any clue as to what to do. Any help will be highly appreciated.

You can always appeal. I appealed to 3 universities that I had been denied to and 2 of them accepted me. So there’s always a chance. Just write a really appealing letter as to why you should be considered again, and provide all the proper documentation that they require.

If not, then you can either go to your second choice and finish what you can there in a year and then reapply to your first choice school for the next year again, hopefully within the year you’ll be able to raise up your GPA and be more competitive.
If you don’t want to do that, then you can stay an extra year at your community college and work on bringing up your GPA and reapply to the school you want to go to for the following year.

what are your grades how did uic deny you?

^ you’re a year late
