New college oriented reality show??

I got this and it seems legit but who knows??

"Here is your chance to be a star!

As you know, we will never sell your email address or personal information to anyone. But we have just been asked by ABC Television Network and Bunim-Murray (producers of "The Real World" and "Road Rules") to help them in their national casting search for high school seniors to appear in a new 2005 reality show called "The Scholar." It will be the first reality show ever to celebrate higher education as the ultimate prize. Here's the scoop:

Fifteen qualified high school seniors -- who might not otherwise have an opportunity to pursue a college education -- will compete for a full ride scholarship to the college of their choice. They will have to demonstrate excellence in the areas of academics, leadership, school spirit and community service. Sounds cool, right?

Check out the info and apply for your chance to be on "The Scholar" and potentially win a scholarship! Good luck!

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

if you gotta pay some sort of fee when you apply (even if its only $1) then its a scam....or if they ask for personal information like s/s#, address, etc.

if not, i guess go for it if u want a chance to be on TV. nothing to loose.

It's not a scam...it's on the ABC site.

I doubt I fit their criteria since I am long out of college. But it might be interesting to some here.
