Since may scores are out, I wanted to know if it’s possible for colleges to take the best score between new sat tests. For example If I got 570 reading/writing + 590 Maths on May, and 580 writing + 300 Maths on June, colleges would have to pick up the 570 R/W + 590 Maths to form my top score. Is that possible? I’m sure collegeboard doesn’t offer this, but colleges are eligible to do so, just like what happened in to old sat?
Many colleges that superscored the old SAT tests have announced they will also superscoe the new SAT test. What they will not do is superscore the combined old and new tests. Thus, you need to check with the colleges to which you intend to apply to see the policy they have adopted. Note there are still many, such as UCs, that did not superscore the old tests and will not do so for the new ones either.
