I was wondering which one is better. and also if new brunswick which campus would be the best to live in....

I prefer the New Brunswick campus since it's the main one.

I hear that a lot of kids like College Avenue (especially if you love frat parties and whatnot. Beer pong, woo!). Also, College Avenue is basically near a lot of shops, entertaiment, eateries in New Brunswick. Oh! And can't forget those grease trucks.

Then there is Livingston. It's very active and very social. It is focused very on first-year students. It is near the athletic center for the basketball games.

If you want a more quiet setting, you could settle for the Douglass/Cook campus. Douglass has all-girls housing, and basically caters to girls. Cook's not too far from the Douglass campus. Cook is more farm, enviromental, biological sciences.

Busch is another cool campus in Piscataway. It is close to the football stadium. A lot of students who reside there are usually involved with academics focused on the maths, sciences, pharmacy. Most sports activities go on at this campus.

I would check the website to get a better taste. I'm merely a high school student who recently enrolled at Rutgers to attend in the Fall :)

Which one has better academics, though?

academics wise, new brunswick is the better campus. its the most competitive as well.

its not easy determining which campus on NB is better to live on based off of academics since theres a huge differences and a huge variety of different things going on as well. In my opinion cook campus has most of its focus on academics. there are farms and green houses and labs every where you turn and its the furthest away from all the other campuses. the best one to live on if you want to be near most of your classes is probably Busch. its easy to get around from there. on top of that busch also is really active as well. so in my eyesi feel like on the new brunswick campus busch is a win win.
