Need some quick help. As we all know, scholarship, leadership, service and character are four pillars of nhs. I have perfect academics and service, and I can write a lot about my character, but I have absolutely none, zero leadership/office positions (well, the only "leadership" I involved in is future business "Leaders" of america, but it got nothing to do with leadership). So when I write my essay, should I just not write about leadership at all or should I just write (or bs) about how "leadership is all about attitude" and stuff. Thanks for helping. (I know I have big chance not getting in, but my recommendations are sent already, I think they are not bad too; my gpa is a lot higher than the 3.6 standard (4.1) and I have 60+ hours service and i'm on math team, chem league last year, fbla, robotics team and mu alpha theta). but freaking leadership is killing me)

I suggest you stretch whatever leadership you can possibly think of. Basically, did you ever do something in a club that made you important (recruit members, make suggestions, instigate changes, etc.)? If you did, be sure to mention it, call it leadership, and leave the majority of your focus on the other pillars.

Depending on how prestigious your NHS is, just mentioning something for leadership might be enough when supplemented with outstanding service, academics, and character. Good luck!

I like your answer, thank you.

Just one off topic point, how come it seems like this section is much less active now? I didn't come on for 2 months, if it was 2 months ago this thread would be on the 2nd or third page after 30 minutes.

^ Because it's not summer break and we don't get post counts anymore. lol
