no microwaves allowed in Case?

yes, lol i know this is an off-topic and a weird question to ask but this is kinda bugging me. So, one of my friend told me some schools don't allow microwaves into their dorms and because I am highly considering Case, I checked their web page "Packing 101: What to Bring" to see if it applied to them as well. Unfortunately, under their "what not to bring section", it said microwave.

Packing 101: What to Bring - Case Housing, Residence Life & Greek Life

Is this really true? Or do Case students just ignore this and bring it anyways?
I know there is probably a microwave where all the residents can use in the resident hall kitchen, but still, I want my own microwave!

And in advance, I am sorry to anyone that feels like this thread is a waste of space.

I know this doesn’t answer the question about if Case students do it anyway, but I do know that somewhere in my acceptance packet it said the same thing. Made me kinda sad :(

microwaves aren’t allowed in the rooms but there are microwaves on every floor of the freshman dorms

its just something you’ll have to live with :stuck_out_tongue: or in this case, live without

There are microwaves on every floor of every dorm. A room with like a sink, microwave, table. College students live off of microwavable meals. Here you just have to walk about 10 steps outside your room
