No PSAT scores yet? Commiserate here!

@CaucAsianDad Love that theory!! Hope that is not the case - pretty late in this whole process for CB to be doing anything like that, though, right?? Gotta love Stand And Deliver!!!

I was able to talk to a CB call center supervisor this morning. She said that not all the access code emails were sent over the weekend (but the first rep I spoke to said all were sent and blamed my D for not having the correct email address in the answer sheet). She said to get the code from the GC. I told her that the GC said she didn’t have one. Finally she said she would escalate to the CB and would get back to me within 5 - 7 business days.

The CB reminds me of COMCAST. Educated consumers who have options would flee to other carriers.

D’s counselor is out for the week, so I won’t be getting any codes from her, if she has them lol.

I can’t get CB to actually answer the phone. I tried many times last week and I’ve been on hold for over 30 min this morning. I suspect if I finally get through to someone they won’t be very helpful. On Twitter CB says to DM them if you can’t access your scores. I DM’d them. No response. I emailed last week. No response.

I know my D’s email address is correct with the CB. She created it just for the PSAT exam and has not given it anyone else. So far she received an email from Duke TIP on the 6th and an email from Clareton this morning. So the CB selling her information and presumably her test score range, but it cannot find a way to get her test scores to her. That’s the part that takes me from being frustrated to being a little angry.

@CaucAsianDad @mamma1st Have you tried editing your address in the CB account, changing Street to St or Avenue to Ave? This worked for me…in my case the address was not there (I can’t remember if when we set up the CB account in December it ASKED for our home address or not). When I added the address, scores popped in 10 minutes later.

After sitting on hold for an hour someone finally came on the line. She took all my son’s information and then put me on hold for 10 minutes only to come back and tell me that she sees there are scores associated with his account but she can’t get them to show up. She doesn’t know why. She said she would have to refer it to someone higher up and someone will get back to me soon. Yeah right. So, I’m nowhere closer to getting his scores.

Then she should have manually emailed them to the email account on record while waiting for the IT guys to figure it out. Such idiots.

@suzyQ7 I changed Ct to Court. Nothing happened but I’ll try checking back every so often to see if that does anything.

I have twins who both took the PSAT as juniors in October. To demonstrate how random the College Board grade notification system is, my daughter’s PSAT scores showed up in her College Board account as promised on January 7th. My son’s scores are still not showing. He can see last year’s PSAT scores. He is certain he used the same email. He is fine waiting until he gets the hard copy as he does not expect to score high enough for National Merit. My daughter’s SI was 2 points above last year’s state cutoff. We won’t know until September if she is going to make it.

I got the same response on Friday @mamma1st . CB says scores are associated with the account, “Just get the access code from you CG.” CG did not receive them. CB says email with the access code will come no later than Saturday @ 5:00 PM. No email came.

@suzyQ7 Been there done that. There is something much bigger going on here as the entire school does not have scores or emails.

D spoke with the GC, who said that D’s name was not on the giant spreadsheet that the school received from the CB. This now scares me. Did some lose her test?

West Michigan Homeschooler with no test results. This Stinks!

GC says since they did not receive the access codes and cannot download the scores they will just hand out the paper reports at the end of the month.

I am sure my D is not NMSF due to math. We were hoping to use the access code with Khan Academy build a study plan for her. I don’t think the paper scores will be of much use with Khan Academy, and waiting until the end of the month does not leave much time for the March 5 SAT.

Oh, and let’s rub salt in the wound!

From Oberlin College this morning:

@CaucAsianDad You received this mailing but don’t have scores yet???

Correct. No scores, no access code, nothing to the school either, they were told to wait for the paper copies.

This message pops up now when I log into my son’s CB account. I know it’s not a school wide hold because I am able to access my 9th graders scores. But none of the 11th grade parents I have spoken with have been able to access their kids scores, so maybe it’s a grade wide hold at our school. I just want some answers!

A Note About Score Holds
After any administration, scores are sometimes put on hold for review before being officially released to ensure scores are valid for students.

If you are missing a student, or students, in the roster (or see the student name and access code but no scores), that student’s scores may not be final yet. It is also possible that there is a school-wide hold on scores. Please talk to your test coordinator to see if they have been contacted about these scores, as more information may be needed before the scores can be released. Students in this situation will not be able to see their scores in their online account until the score is released as final.

D has gotten a few mailings that said things like “The fact that colleges are mailing you means you’re on the right track.” No mention of CB, but I hope they bode well, all the same!

received this same email from Oberlin and some other colleges this morning…hope it means something good. Still haven’t gotten scores.
