I received a nomination from my Congressman in New York and also my AFJROTC unit but on the USAFA site it is not updated. Has this happened to anyone else or is there a waiting period? Might anyone know why this may be happening?

Thanks,
Uddit

When did you receive the nom? The offices at AFA have been closed for the last week and a half so a chance for that to be updated may not have occurred.

from what i've seen, the application web page is closed for updating on monday and thursday mornings from 630-730 am CST

Its happened to me too. I got a Principal Nom so I'm checkin it all the time to see whats what. But I don't think they are back in yet. As Semper said, they have been out of the office for the break but probably Monday (tomorrow) or sometime this next week, they should be updating them. Don't worry, you aren't alone! ;)

I have been waiting on my MOC nom to be updated. I saw on my page that I was nominated by my senator before I was notified through snail mail. However I received a letter from my MOC dated Nov. 21, and it is still not up there.

Your MOC may have sent you the letter but not yet uploaded the info to the SA. They don't have to tell the SA until January 31 and it is possible that they are certain of your nom but don't have the entire slate determined. While it seems somewhat unconventional to notify the candidate months before the SA, it is certainly possible. You could call the SA and ask. If they say that they do not see the rep nom then call the rep staffer and politely inquire.

I was planning to do that after everyone returns from the break. Thanks.
