How much partying does Duke have for someone not involved with frats?
Enough to satisfy anybody’s wants. Even if you don’t set foot in a frat, you can party four times a week if you so choose – there are enough people and things happening to be able to do that. Others choose to never party and instead prefer other types of social activities. Most Duke students are in between those two examples. You don’t need to be part of the Greek system to have an enriching social experience at Duke, and that includes some fun. The social atmosphere is definitely one of the characteristics that people almost universally rave about at Duke (although some people don’t like how the administration has handled certain aspects of controlling the social atmosphere, but that’s another story…).
