Anybody know if it’s possible to take private voice lessons or take advanced dance class if you are advanced in these areas and you are a drama BFA student at NCSA?

Yes, it is definitely possibly to take private voice lessons while at UNCSA. Greg Walter takes a bunch of students a year, and although in your first year it is more difficult to make way into his schedule, it is certainly possible, for I was able to take voice lessons with him my first year. Taking an advanced dance class however I believe is out of the question, due to the hours you are in class and the strict regiment we follow. However, on weekends and certain weeknights that you are not on crew maybe you could find a dance class somewhere else in winston? I’m not absolutely sure.

I auditioned for the high school voice program at NCSA the last weekend in February, and was accepted pending studio space. Does anyone know what this generally means as far as an admissions decision goes, and/or when I would be notified? (Sorry to crash the theater major party.)
