Hey guys! Does anyone know the difference between the Mid-Term report and the In Progress Coursework?? Does the In Progress Coursework also show grades? I talked to a lady at admissions and she made it sound like it was more of a list but I wasn’t too sure!

I imagine in progress coursework would be a list of courses you are currently taking this semester and probably their descriptions. It’s more “unofficial”. The Mid term report is a document on the common app website that requires actual signatures from professors!

Hey, have any of you already completed your CSS profile? I’m not sure whether or not were supposed to wait till after the decision or if we complete it before. I did put northeastern down as a college to send fafsa information to though.

@go1fgirl Thank you for clearing that up!

@hofstra I already sent in my CSS profile but I’m not sure if anyone else has. I sent it before my decision on the chance that I may get in! That way, they have my financial information ready to go and can get me a package sooner! But that’s just my way of thinking! I think that you would be fine just sending in the FAFSA for now!

ALSO! Today’s the start of many big days! Hopefully, some of us will be getting our decisions soon! The anxiety is killing me! D:

Has anyone heard back today?

I called and they told me that decisions wouldn’t be posted until “the week of April 7th” so I don’t know if that means on April 7th or if it could be as late as April 13th. I really hope that it is soon I am so anxious!! Good luck to you guys btw!

That so annoying! I called yesterday and they told me decisions would start being released today! Hmm

I got the same message as @klgood today. They said my application has been reviewed and decisions will be announced next week.

r u kidding me)))) w8ing again, so tired

I just hope we get them before May! I know some people last year didn’t hear back until around the middle of May D: But that probably doesn’t happen often! :D

I submitted all of my supporting documents, but they require a passing english proficiency score. I called nu and talked to a transfer counsellor and told her that I have taken english comp 1 and comp2 at my college over here but they say that it wont waive off the english proficiency requirement. What should I do?

English proficiency? I’m going to assume you are an international student? You need to take the TOEFL(something along those lines) I’m pretty sure, which is an exam to “prove” english competency or something and then submit those scores to NU.

@cctransfer212 You r late my friend. I am an international student as well. You have to have TOEFL 92+ either IELTS 6.5+. It’s a requirement that is not going to be waived.

If your stats are high enough, i recommend u to write a letter to the admissions with your circumstances. If not, then you will be rejected, 90% sure.

@cctransfer212 Tell them that you r going to take it during summer and provide them the passing score.

@dzharkov, I’m not an international student. I am a permanent resident and english is spoken at home, so what happens if I don’t submit anything?

Oh gotcha! @dzharkov

@dzarkhov, is there any significance of telling them that i will take the toefl in the summer rather than taking it asap?

Hey guys, do you think that submitting my application in one day before the deadline puts me at a disadvantage? I really really hope it doesn’t although I know that decisions will be released on a rolling basis, which means that they are most likely reviewing the applications in the order that they received them.

@dzarkhov I don’t think so because you can’t be admitted without it for fall 2014 (at least it seems like that’s what they are saying).
