how hard is it to get into this program?
im currently a sophmore and i was thinking of applying to this the summer after my junior year.
are there any specific requirements that i should know about? i know that you need a 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale and i currently have a weighted 3.7 so i don't know what my gpa is compared to what they need.

I don't know how hard it is to get into the program. My son went there last summer and he enjoys the program very much. Most of his summer classmates who applied ED to Northwestern this year got accepted.

Are you talking about CTD? Because if so, it's not that hard to get into and it does give you a leg up in the Northwestern admissions process.

The program that my son attended was the College Prep summer program, not CTD.

getting admitted is not difficult at all, trust me. I know people who went to the program with very low test scores. Unfortunatley, it gave them a false sense of security since a few got regected ED. But doing the program does help if you are somewhat smart, but it won't make up for a really bad app. Just have decent grades(3.7 is probably fine), write good essay, and you're in the program. It is not extremely competitive or anything. NU basically wants to fill its summer classes and make some money, the program is quite expensive, but you do get college credit. I would recommed it, it is very laid back and fun, while earning college credit with undergrads. Good luck!

hey does anyone know if the credit courses are really hard? What can I expect from such a class?
