Northwestern Fall Transfer 2020

this is so frustrating

Not cool :frowning: I applied in mid February…

I feel like they may be waiting to gauge the enrollment from their freshman class due to the current environment before completing transfer decisions.

Yeah I’m just giving up on trying to guess when they’re coming out, I’ll probably be just waiting for an email too. I feel like I’m a nervous wreck every Wednesday for nothing

Honestly it would be fine if they would just be more transparent about the time frame about hearing back they’re so unclear

By how my weeks did they extend the application deadline? I know they extended it, but I am not sure by how long.

@tomtransfer1 around 4 I believe

Any chance that the decisions may not be released in their usually times (times other than Wednesdays 6:30 EST)? Because I doubt that they are willing to send all their decisions within only a few weeks before May 15th.

Well guys they are working remotely so probably it is taking more time than usual (Harvard moved their admission decisions until July lol)

Wait what?

@theartemis wait, you mean transfer applicants to Harvard (me) will not hear back until July?

I just checked and their website says “We know this is a very difficult and stressful time for you as you consider your plans for next year, and we are grateful for your patience and your efforts. In the face of unprecedented uncertainty and anxiety surrounding COVID-19, we understand and anticipate delays facing applicants and their current institutions in providing us the materials we need to fully evaluate applications. As a result, we may be delayed this year in sending transfer admission decisions. We hope to be able to do so before July 1 and will provide any new information on this website as it becomes available.”

Disclaimer: this is about Harvard lol, sorry for any confusion
They wrote on their website that they will try their best to release decisions by July .
Here is what they wrote on their website: " As a result, we may be delayed this year in sending transfer admission decisions. We hope to be able to do so before July 1 and will provide any new information on this website as it becomes available."

@thelegitbrian thank you for editing that lol

WHAT IN THE FUDGE??? JULYYY???

r u kidding me? jesus christ

forget barf - i would be withdrawing if i were u.

cuz that is legit ONE MONTH to decide to move, transfer, blah blah blah

Where do you see this?

@s3annnnn you mean about Harvard?

Btw, I won’t withdraw just for fun. Imagine being rejected by all schools but your safety one and eventually going there, then receiving Harvard’s acceptance letter…

//I was replying @nickvader7 about Harvard, sorry if I confused you guys…
