<p>I think chances are that most students that were interviewed for hpme were offerred admissions considering their stats and all. It would have caused an uproar to have made everyone come for interviews only to be rejected by the undergrad anyways.</p>
<p>that's what i was thinking. but that would be 137 guaranteed admits. wouldn't the undergrad admissions office have to clear those as well?</p>
<p>that's a good question. but i mean, it's only "guaranteed" once you get your interview, and they interview the top 137 of the applicant pool anyway.</p>
<p>yea, this whole hpme, NW university admissions process isn't totally clear to me, but i second takingiteasy -- you can't have people flying in (my flight was 16 hours right after my exams) if there isn't reason to expect they'll be among the top of the undergrad university pool...</p>
