<p>i understand that a 1140 will get me no where in any accelerated program as i explained before i was immensely sick when i took the test and am taking it again in Dec and expect high 1400-1500 range but i just want to know if that will at least get ma a chance at their application i will pick it up form there by my Dec Sat's hopefully !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>Well, the problem is, the hpme request card is the thing that allows you to get the application. The December scores won't come out in time because you have to turn in your card by 12-1-06. So I guess you'll have to deal with your old score.</p>
<p>randomscreenname - i would suggest calling them if you didn't get an application because 2340 essentially guarantees it if uve got the other prerequisites, it would really be a shame if you weren't able to apply</p>
<p>on the application instructions sheet, it said that there are acknowledgment AND application cards...wut the heck are application cards (not to be mistaken with the hpme request cards)?</p>

SAT IIs: Math IIC-800, Chem-770
GPA: 4.32 out of 4.87 (ouch!!)</p>
<p>and i gotta lot of volunteering, research, and math awards...</p>

<p>yeah 1000 request the app and 900 get it, so the cards are stacked in your favor for receiveing the app (if only the same thing were true for the actual program)</p>
<p>hey, a few questions:
1) for the HPME card where it asks for years taken for subjects....does that include this year....so for example for english would it be 4 (including this year) or 3?
2) for GPA i have a 4.48 weighted but it is out of 5.0...do i put 5.0 or the highest GPA in my grade for highest possible? (or should i just put 4.0 out of 4.0, which is better)
3) For my sat II scores i want to wait until tuesday nov. 28 to send the card after i get my scores online...is this too late...i know the deadline is Dec. 1...but will there be applications left?</p>

<p>Do you need to send in an undergradute app as well by the first, or just the card?</p>

<p>the card is independent of the undergrad app, just send it in alone and don't attach anything else to it</p>
