<p>@OP Missing a class in a series can be a serious problem. I have read that you don’t get credit for series’ that you don’t complete.</p>
<p>I don’t want to scare you, because I forget where I read it, but I’m pretty sure it’s the case.</p>
<p>^ hmm I don’t know about not completing a series gives you no credit because it wouldn’t make sense for some UC’s to only require one semester of something for a certain major.</p>
<p>ex. Life science majors at UCLA require only one semester of organic chemistry rather than completing the year long series.</p>
<p>Perhaps I misread. I just know I’ve been following that rule for a reason, supposedly.</p>

<p>^ You become less competitive. Whether you’ve completed major prereqs is one of the big things they look at.</p>
