I got a 35 on my ACT and am a leader for 5 clubs at my school (President of 2, captain of 2 others). The University of Wisconsin prompt asked, "Write about something that goes unnoticed in your life and explain why it is important to you." I wrote about how my mother is important to me but I didn't explain how it goes unnoticed!! Is it possible that I will be denied admission because of this foolish mistake? Please help me (honestly)! Thanks.

Relax. You wrote the essay. You did your best. I’d be surprised if you’re denied. Come back here to post your results.
Also, don’t forget to apply to other schools, in order to maximize the odds of getting a great financial aid package. Apparently UWisconsin Eau Claire has a great Honors Program so you might want to apply there as a financial safety. UMN’s Honors program is also excellent and you have tuition reciprocity.
And of course, among the nearby privates, you would likely get merit at schools like Lawrence or St Olaf, and you have a possible shot at Carleton - for all 3, it’d depend on curriculum rigor and GPA, of course.

You will easily get in with those scores.

@MYOS1634 @TrynaMakeIt Thanks guys. I did end up making it in! And they offered me money
