im applying to BS/MD, BS/DO, and some BS/DMD programs. My extra-curriculars i think help me stand out and my sat scores, but im not in the top 10%. Some programs say they will not make any exceptions to these requirements, but will some programs make exceptions based on my other stats? Thanks

i want to know this too!
i think USC maybe?

i too wold love to know this..but im assumin some colleges would make an exception, i couldnt tell u which though......but if anyone else could thtd be cool :D

Some state programs like in-state applicants, some are even require to have only very limited # of OOS. Look closely at your state schools. I discovered couple programs that were not that known and being in-state was a huge advantage. What is your uw GPA? That might be more important than ranking.

I have around a 3.2 (which is outside the top 10%), i have more leadership stuff like changing school policy and governor's school to help out, but i was just wondering if they actually just cut you out if you dont meet minimum requirements. I know that places like Virginia Commonwealth have a lower SAT score. Some of the BS/DO programs have an SAT score of around 1200, but they still have the top10% rule as well as BS/DMD programs. I know a lot of people that have high standardized test scores but low gpa's, but still don't get into programs.

3.2 is low. I do not know about BS/DO, but even 4.0 uw / top of class with everything else (scores, ECs...) are not making to all BS/MD programs that they apply to.
