Notification Dates?

Nothing form Rochester yet. . . .maybe monday.

But I did hear from Union. . . . .I was accepted, with a nomination to their Scholars Program.

I received a Presidential Scholarship of 15,500, BUT, they took this out of my need based package. . . . so my need based is non-existant.

So my package sucks. Too bad they didn't offer me a better package. I'm sure I can do better than 15,500 gift aid. Oh well, their loss :)

I didn't hear anything about need-based aid yet...just nomination for Scholars Program and Presidential Scholarship. Wow...we are two of a kind!!! :-)

wow, elady. . . . .we must have nearly identical taste in colleges and compatible even in our financial aid.

I'm assuming that any need-based aid would be shown on the financial aid summary. . . . .if you know otherwise, please let me know.

That's kind of weird. . . . .so we both applied to U of R and Union. . . .I almost applied to Williams, and I visited campus. . . . .we must very likes and dislikes when it comes to colleges.

crazy, crazy!! i didn't get a financial aid summary. hmmmm. i'll have to look through my stuff again. where else did u apply?

No financial aid summary? That's weird. Mine was right behind the letter from the financial aid office about the Presidential Scholarship.

I applied to Union, U of R, Colgate, Columbia, Cornell, and RPI. I've only heard from RPI and Union so far.

I looked at Colgate and decided not to apply!!! We should hear from U of R tomorrow.... :-)

i know, i cannot wait. i will be waiting by the mailbox :D

wait, i think it just contradicted myself. haha.

crapola. i waited and waited. then i checked the mail...and nothing. maybe tomorrow!

damn, that makes me mad, i was thinking it would come today

I just heard from U of R. I got accepted!! Their package is realy cute, kinda tough to open. I ended up getting a hugepapercut trying to rip the thing open. Oh, well. Atleast I got in somewhere!!!!

Yes! got in. When you get your packages, don't try to "open them (like me). I almost tore it apart until i realized that it slides out.

so, if i get a funky-cool package, i am in? sweet! maybe liam and I did not get ours because we live so far away.

Oh believe me you'll know, it says "Welcome Class of 2009" HUGE on the front...I was looking it over, its so heavy that they spent $1.98 to mail it. I'm in PA, so I guess you guys will get them tomorrow or wednesday.

Yeah. . .the welcome to class of 2009 on the front of the envelope doesn't exactly leave you in suspense. Haha. . .the mailman knew before I did.

So, I just got mine today, but I live in Upstate NY, so those that live farther away will take a little longer.

Are the packages sent through FedEx?

No, I got mine in the mail, and I'm all the way across the country, so everyone should have got theirs today

anyone rejected???? maybe they sent rejection letters later. :S

Standard mail. Big Envelope, trust me if you're in you'll know it.

yay!!! i got in too!!! i agree...the packaging is too complex even for us scholars!!!

union and siena sent me so much junk email.
