The offers for the Gateway Program came out today with the email about the waitlist! I got in to the Gateway Program!!
Did everyone receive this part if the email?
As a student who has already demonstrated that you would be an excellent addition to the Notre Dame community, your transfer admission will be heavily dependent on your course selection and performance in your first year of college. Detailed information is outlined on our transfer website.
While we realize that this letter may come as a disappointment, know that if you truly wish to complete your education at Notre Dame, we will gladly work with you toward that end. D was notified and offered the Gateway program.
Going to visit and check it out on June 2
My daughter was accepted into the Gateway Program and I would like to start a discussion with others who have. Even accepted in the program who are considering it as well as those who have gone through it.
We are planning on attending the June 5 visit day.
Our daughter also just got a telephone call from Dr. Mike from Holy Cross. He said 40 of the 1200 “wait list” students are offered this Gateway opportunity. They make it sound like it is a guaranteed admission to ND next year as sophomores. Anyone else read it this way?
I just received the same call. I have read everything I could find on the internet about the program and it all supported that. He was extremely helpful and answered all of my concerns about the program. I really think it is an amazing opportunity for anyone whose first choice is ND. I started a thread on the program which has a few different people’s perspectives.
