Hi guys, I don’t really post but I got the call last week and I thought I would tell you what I did. What I did was have various faculty members send recommendations. They were really supportive! I also sent updated emails and a piece of artwork (applied as an art history major)!
My Stats were
SAT: 2220
GPA: unweighted 3.8/4.0
My EC’s were- president FCCLA; vice president National Arts Honors Society, etc. (very art related); I also sent in a portfolio
Wish you guys the best of luck! I was told that I have until the 22nd to respond so there may be another round then! I never posted on college confidential before but I know that everyone here will go to a great school!

I gave up my spot earlier this week, so hopefully that helps one of you guys. Still hoping to get off another college’s waitlist 
We just heard from our ND admissions rep this afternoon that he does “not anticipate any additional students being offered admission from this point forward.” He also told us that “an official notification of the closing of the waiting list will be sent out this week, possibly as early as this evening.” Sorry, folks. Hopefully you have been able to move on and are looking forward to whichever other school you have committed to for next year. There is the chance to transfer to ND in the future (they purposely “save seats” each year for transfer students), so don’t give up all hope if ND is truly your dream school!!
