@doge123 someone said to search for transfer group on fb but i can’t seem to find it. For housing, the ND website states it is not a guarantee for transfers. I recommend applying for housing but keeping off campus housing options in mind. Other than that, congrats! It’s a bit weird right now but i hope your son and we will all enjoy ND.
I made the group and it says you should be able to find it @Mickie357 . I’m sorry!! I’ll try to fix it.
Here is a group me I made, just put it all together!!
First https:// Then groupme. Then com then /join_group/ then 60030182 / lastly wtj39iNd
Here’s a group me for any accepted transfers. See if this works!
@Irish22 When you transferred in, how was the housing situation? I know it’s so hard to predict this year, with schools talking about spreading kids out more in the dorms and the possibility of abroad programs being canceled.
Accepted into Mendoza! Does anyone know when to expect financial aid?? It’s stressing me out because I need to know to make a decision
Okay I will try the same with facebook group since it won’t show up: https://

@Arithmetix - there is usually a few weeks. You can call them. The staff in Financial Aid are very helpful. Go to the Financial Aid page and look for a “contact us”
I called the financial aid office, and they said I should receive my financial aid award within a week.
Hey. Don’t fret! I transferred last year heard back around mid-June and got into Mendoza so don’t worry about it !
Hi @ScreenName44 - how was the housing situation for your transfer class? This year is so crazy that I know it’s so hard to predict, but just wondering how many people got spots on campus when you came in. Thanks!
Will they release more decisions today?
What’s good. I didn’t personally get housing, but I lived off campus with another transfer. I think in total around 12 transfers didn’t get housing first semester. While it was unfortunate, it wasn’t the end of the world. Hope that helps lmk if you have anymore questions
I will be declining my spot! I emailed admissions and they said that almost all incoming transfers will have to look for off-campus housing. Furthermore, they will match students with academic advisors “sometime later this summer” and you won’t know which credits will transfer until much later. Good luck everyone!
Thanks. So did you get on second semester? And I’m assuming you’re on now because of the 3 year housing requirement? Just trying to figure out what to maybe expect.
Kinda crazy people heard back on the 31st…
I’ve been waiting almost 6 weeks for USC’s decision after I submitted my spring grades. Really hoping it won’t be the same for ND or else I likely won’t be able to go to either.
@WLVGirl - I think because of the three year on campus rule, housing may be easier to find. I did a quick look and you can get a shared apartment for $895/month for your portion. The proximity to campus could be challenging. Do you plan to bring a car? Room and board is $16k if you live on campus.
Yea I’m on now. But as transfers, if you don’t get housing, you’re on required to live on campus junior year. I also did get on second semester, and so did winter transfers, but that’s only because of study abroad. Ik there are a couple apartment complexes walking distance from campus — I lived in one. So if you want to know more about them PM me
@screenname44 I don’t know how to PM here but could you list the housing complexes within walking distance to ND? Are they safe?
Yea sure. 100% safe. I would also recommend seeing if these places have 6 months leases, which is easier just in case you get housing next semester. Ik for sure that edge and flats have 6 months leases.
Close to campus are:
- Irish Flats
- Irish Row
- Campus Court
- Campus View
Uber from campus:
- University Edge
Hi! Can someone post a new link to the GroupMe? I can’t get it to work.
