yea. you kno i was freaking out on the chess quest. then i realized it was number 2, and i was like this has to have the simplest process so i added both and subtracted from the total. and the other ones is def 2.

Cardsfan, I got 2 for the face of the folded box and 11 as well. Did anyone’s last math question of the last section have to do with average speed? I got 48 for that, confirmation?

And there’s another one i’m worried about… It was a question with a graph, and there were two similar functions, f(x) and g(x). The question was what is the smallest value of f(x)-g(x) or something along those lines. Any ideas?

I got 2 and 11 as well. There were 8 people in both clubs, 12 people in just chess, and 31 people total, so it had to be 11.

12… 2 initial doors * 3 door from middle room to left * 2 doors to go back to the middle room * 1 door to go back to the first room

I am so glad I didn’t have that dog question; it sounds awful.

It sounds better than some of the weird rates and area problem the other test had…

hate to be a buzzkill…but i think -1 is going to be 780. math was an absolute breeze this time around.

I know there was a grid-in experimental section, but does anyone know which 25-minute math section was experimental? I had four math sections (one grid-in, two 25-minute, one 20-minute) and I am trying to figure out if the first or second 25-minute one was experimental.

Do you remember the questions in each of the 25 minute sections?

Yes there were at least 2 diff versions WITHIN the US. My next seat neighbor and I had different tests. ;)

minimeigh-- did you have a math question during one of the 25 mins that asked you to find the average of C and F if the average of A+B+C+F was 40 and the average of A and B was 10?

Checkmate, wasn’t that question “Find the average of c and f if the average of a+b+c+f is 10 and the average of a and b is 20?”

Yeah, a few. My first section I freaked out about the whole test because of a really dumb question; it was about a function that crossed the axis at (-2,0) and (2,0) and it wanted to know which of the answer choices could represent the graph. The right answer is |x^2-4|, I’m positive now. Another question from that section involved x=20 with two pairs of parallel lines, I’ve seen that on here.

I keep getting the second 25-minute and my last-20 minute section’s problems confused, though. I know I had the 72 radii question whose answer was 30, the volume question where you had to subtract 10-1 to find height for the volume formula, a function table where one of the functions was now g(x) did not equal 2x (answer was -3), the box question where 2 was the top face, the question with average speed (48, I think), and the question with the number line -1 to 1 with six variables. Those were all in my last two sections, can’t remember which is which though, some of them were in the second 25-minute for sure, though.

I had that. Answer was 0

checkmate7, yes! I put 0 for that.

Minimeigh, your second 25 minute section was experimental.

oh shoot! i put 10 for the average thing. -1 so far. Bye-bye, 800!

Hello ALL,

I was just trying to figure out which math section I had that was the experimental variable section. So I know the grid-in section and the short 20 min sections arent the experimental but out of the two 25 min math scetions can anybody discuss which one they got if they had an experimental that wasnt math.

Oh and this is the test with the 995 problem and without the dog question or w.e…

Thank you.

Sweet, thanks. Not sure if that’s good or bad at this point, but I’ll take what I can get. Do you remember if you had abc, xyz with -1 to 1 on the number line? It was a I, II, III question, and I can’t remember what I put so it’s killing me that I don’t know if I have it right or not. I’m assuming you didn’t have my experimental, so if you didn’t have it, I should be good?

Minimeigh, I had that question and I got II and III.

ironman: What questions did you get for each 25 minute section?
