^I put like wine b/c it has to resort to lactic acid fermentation, while yeast use alcoholic fermentation.

For meiosis in plants, what was the answer?
Also, the birth control question?

I don’t get it though. What was the long wavelength humans can see?
Why would it be violet when we can see green and others? Because can’t we see red as well which has a higher wavelength than violet?

doesnt birth control prevent ovulation?

umm pretty sure the question asked for the wavelength plants DO use… which means green wasn’t the answer, violet was for that one. i put violet twice

I was wondering about the same thing actually…
but there wasn’t a choice for red but there was green.

Green was definitely the answer to the plant one. It asked which wavelength certain chlorophylls don’t absorb–green, which is why we see plants as green.

^agreed tsen

@scribbling: because the question asked for what is the color with MAXIMUM power. The power is inverse with wavelength: the longer the weaker.
For birth control, it’s sth to block progesteron so that the newly formed zygote cannot reside in the new uterine line (sorry if i do not use the right word).
Abt the meiosis in plants: is the question is like what is the gamete of a plant/flowering plant? I put spore-80% wrong =="
Another question abt meiosis: i answer sth abt reduce the chromosomes

for the birth control question,
I said something about progesteron (sp?) and uterus resorption because progesteron is supposed to help in uterus thickening (which is necessary in order to be pregnated)

@nwgolfer; yeah, I just googled it, lol. That’s what I put though, so I’m glad haha.

Which thingy in cellular respiration produced the most carbon? I put the citric acid cycle…

krebs, yep…i think

Everything I’ve read just now says that it prevents ovulation.
I put spore for meiosis question.

@goldnano
i put spores for the haploid of flowering plants as well(i think it’s right)

"How Does It Work?

Most birth control pills are “combination pills” containing a combination of the hormones estrogen and progesterone to prevent ovulation (the release of an egg during the monthly cycle). A woman cannot get pregnant if she doesn’t ovulate because there is no egg to be fertilized. The Pill also works by thickening the mucus around the cervix, which makes it difficult for sperm to enter the uterus and reach any eggs that may have been released. The hormones in the Pill can also sometimes affect the lining of the uterus, making it difficult for an egg to attach to the wall of the uterus."

@ goldysocks: I put krebs too: the other answers are: glycoloysis, Calvin, Electron chain, and another 1.
There is a question abt if the population of a species decreased suddenly, what will happen. I put random shift in alleic frequency. is that right?

^That’s what I put.

what was the answer for the polydactyl question?
i think this was in bio M section
i put all the children would have polydactyl (since its autosomal dominant)

^ i also put random shift in allele frequency.

as for the malaria one, it was asking which organism causes malaria.

i put parasite but now im not sure

i was thinking since malaria is commonly transported by mosquito who suck your blood (parasitism = one benefits other organism is harmed)

is this right?

^^That’s what I put…

^That’s correct.
