<p>I have twin sons both of whom have Army ROTC scholarships to Virginia Tech for 2010. One of my sons has 650 MA SAT and 590 Verbal. He was junior treasurer in his high school and captain of the basketball team. He also played varsity baseball all years of high school. He is a worship leader at his church and has done other volunteer work. His unweighted GPA is 3.75 in all honors courses with straight As and A+ grades in all science and math classes. Both of my sons' NROTC application tracker just showed a change in status to "Scholarship Selection/Placement System.</p>
<p>Does anyone have an idea of his chances to receive a 4 yr NROTC scholarship to VT. He is applying as an engineering major? Also, what does the new status "Scholarhip Selection/Placement System" mean?</p>
