<p>Okay, so I’m addicted now.</p>
<p>Anyway, my college counselor told me that they might send out decisions right before they close for the weekend. That way, they don’t have to deal with all of the phone calls they’ll get until the next monday.</p>
<p>Also, does anyone know any athletes or debaters who applied early? I was looking at previous years threads, and they always found out a day earlier than the rest of us.</p>

<p>I just called the admissions office and the lady told me that the results are coming out “just on monday and not before.”
She also told me that the results will be released through snail mail only, and not email.</p>

<p>But again, this might be one of the various answers we’re getting… right? hopefully?</p>
<p>I called Northwestern again (third time this week :P) and the lady said we would get something in the mail by Monday. Also, NU isn’t using any sort of internet system this year is what she said.</p>
<p>All three times I called, I got the same response. :</p>
<p>i just called and the lady said that they will send out mails on 15th and, they will send us emails too between 14th(night) and 15th. So, i think we will be notified by 14th night or at latest 15th by email… </p>
<p>She said that the email’s going to be about “your mail is sent” but she said we can also check our decision from the e mail</p>
<p>would checking off the “interested in continuing during college” box on CommonApp for sports and stuff have increased my chances of getting into the college?</p>

<p>I’m just so happy I got the day off today and can just chill at home until i see the mail lady walking up my driveway…Since I live about 15 mins from NU, I’m hoping today’s the day and I’ll definately post if I got anything or not</p>

<p>It’s like, it’s not just because of the stress and suspense. It’s also because it’d be nice to organize my schedule around it, you know? I’d hate to leave the house for hours to go do something with my friends and come back to find my parents sitting by the computer and looking at me with a VERY sympathetic expression, or something. Ick.</p>

she said “by the middle of December” and when I asked, will there be e-mail notification? she said No, just by mail. I then asked “So there will be no online notification at all?” and she said “Not as far as I know.” WHICH IS SO VAGUE. AHHH. And I was trying to pry further, so i asked if there was any other information she could give me, and if she thought early next week was likely, and she merely said…“by the middle of december” again.</p>
<p>I can’t even form coherent sentences i’m so distraught…</p>
<p>WHAT? mid-december? IT IS MID DECEMBER!! ughh. this is annoying. i want to call but i feel like she’s gonna be ****ed off… i have this strange, sinking feeling it’s the same woman answering the phone every time and she’s progressively getting less and less helpful, more and more spiteful</p>

<p>I just called and PROBABLY got the same woman as wysteri… she was like mid-December. And I said do you know the date at all orr…? And she said no. And then I got too flustered to ask anything else. Soo… this sucks.</p>

Anyway,
I talked to this guy and he told me the whole online login thing is still “up in the air”. Meaning, it may or may not happen.
Secondly, he said the latest we will get them is Monday.
I assumed that he meant we will get them in the mail by monday, not mailing them on monday.</p>
