<p>Heyy, I was just wondering if any NYLF/Med attendees had advice any advice regarding NYLF (how to prepare, which site visits or specialties are most interesting, etc.)? And please, I don't need people telling me that this won't look good on a college application, or I should be spending my summer doing research, or whatever.</p>
<p>Also, is anyone else going to session 3 in Boston this summer?</p>

<p>Ok, I didn't go to NYLF, but i went to NYLC, which is done by the same people.</p>
<p>The only advice I would really give you is to be positive no matter what, because with these types of programs you get out of it what you put into it. And live it up, because it's ONLY 10 days. You'll be surprised at how fast it flies by.</p>
<p>I didn't know NYLC was the same people. I actually went to Jr. NYLC.</p>

<p>if you're shy, try not to be for 10 days.
If you're not, then go for it those 10 days.
have fun, you won't see 90% of the people there so don't worry about making a fool out of yourself at times, but be yourself. You'll make good friends so keep in touch with them.</p>
