I’ve been keeping up with this forum and it really helped, so I thought I’d contribute to those waiting. I received my acceptance to the GLS core program at 2pm PST/ 5pm EST today. I never got a continued interest form. The notification about the decision update came in through my email, then I logged into my Albert acc. If you have any questions, I’ll try my best to help. Don’t lose hope because they’re still sending out acceptances until August 1st, but also be realistic. I know it really sucks, but you can always transfer!! *NYU is sending acceptances in waves from what I’ve heard. And I think according to past years, today was just the first or second wave of acceptances.

Why is there no news for Stern?
Any news from CAS? I’m following this chain devotedly and checking my emails at an unhealthy rate but I can’t help it

I think 101steagle received an interest form from Stern, but I am not sure if he was accepted off the waitlist…

Yesterday I got a direct offer from Tandon off the waitlist. Tandon was always my dream school and they gave me a great amount of scholarship money but the thing is I would start in the spring semester so January of 2019. I would be placed into an advanced program which makes sure I graduate at the same time as everyone else in the class of 2022. The only difference really is instead of taking classes in fall and spring I’ll be taking classes in the spring and summer. I already committed to a school (manhattan college) which I really like and was getting used to the idea of going there. I’m really lost and confused now, and not sure of what to do. (Also I got off the waitlist with a 1220 SAT score, 3.9 GPA, so yea you don’t need a super high score to get off the waitlist there is hope!)

Albert says I have no applications…should I give up?
Hey guys, I’m waitlisted at CAS and Tandon too. I just called the office of admissions and they said that CAS has started removing people off the waitlist. Honestly just PRAYING that I get in. I really don’t like the college that I have committed to and NYU is my dream school. This is absolute torture.

i’m currently waitlisted for CAS and Tandon and know that people have heard for tandon, but not CAS. i was wondering if anyone’s Albert portal has changed? is that important? should i even care about that? until this morning i had never looked at my albert portal so i had no idea what it looks like ( so i have no idea if it changed). the only thing i’ve been checking is the original decision portal they sent out with actual decisions and that still says i’m waitlisted… nothing has changed…
Someone I know just got off the waitlist with A BUNCH OF AID, so don’t lose hope but stay happy with the choice you’ve made also!!
I was accepted yesterday afternoon as a Spring Admit to Steinhardt! I am not sure what I am going to do, but I am really happy I got in (I did not expect it!!) So you guys have hope
