Also- does anyone have experience being a spring admit / has any one also been accepted for Spring 2019? If so, is it worth it?
Desperately waiting for stern.
Does anyone know if they’re releasing more today at 2pm??? Based on last year? Or if we didn’t get an acceptance should we give up hope until June or whenever next round is?
Me too! Are you going?
Any word from CAS?
Is anyone willing to call admissions and ask if CAS is coming out today I’m scared
If no one has gotten an interest email from CAS, is it possible for them to still get an admission offer?
anyone know when do we have to reply for the spring admission offer?
72 hours after the email is received. @cctthhjj
Still waiting on Cas
thanks, will I get another offer, (since I applied to CAS in the first place, ) if I got a spring admission offer.
Im so lost. So these things we are calling “interest letters” dont even seem to matter. Someone mentioned earlier that maybe people who applied for aid got them because maybe NYU wanted to double check that those ppl could still afford it with limited aid, but then i went back into this thread and the 2021 thread and it seems like people who did and didnt apply for aid both got that letter. But it also seems like everyone who is getting accepted right now didnt get that letter. Im not salty im just very, very confused what the point of that “interest letter” even is. NYU wyd??? Anyone got any ideas.
What school did you get into? @cctthhjj
5:01 PM EDT CAS no email as of now
No CAS email…should I just give up?
Mabye 6 pm ?
I think the reason that they send out interest letter is that to see if you will be able to pay for your tuition without any or just a little aid. We all know that NYU admission already know how much your family can pay for your tuition so I guess if your family have the ability to pay full tuition, you probably won’t receive interest letter. At least it is a possible prediction, Right?
I think their admission office close around 5 so Keep our hope up for next week GUYS!
Really … something does not sound right. I suggest you check the offer that the ‘great money’ is not a loan. The package I received had limited $5k merit, and covered the rest with offers of 3 different loans and work study. Manhattan College is a great school, but not an NYU. If you are really getting the same money, esp with a 1220 on SAT, push yourself into NYU.
Just rechecked and RD came out at 6PM, so there is hope for 6PM today! If not, we’ll have to wait for next week sadly
