I was accepted to CAS
I’ve only seen ONE person get accepted into CAS in this thread…
@Rachel0528 on Wednesday! and I didn’t receive an interest letter
hey i wanted to ask whether our final transcripts will affect anything? where i’m from, our final transcripts wouldn’t be available until mid july
@HSLoser Congrats on acceptance. Were you on waitlist? Are you in state or out of state? If you are comfortable, would you share your stats. Again, great to hear some people are being accepted to CAS from waitlist.
@ilovebooks123 Which school will you attend within NYU? Congratulations. Happy for those who are getting off waitlist. I’m working like I won’t and it will be a great surprise if I do.
@wdjacca Shouldn’t matter unless you have poor grades. Since they have admissions officers for regions they likely know generally when and which schools complete final transcripts. If the grades are on par you shouldn’t worry.
Yes I was on waitlist. GPA: 3.72 ACT: 32 (one sitting); international; two musical instruments at performance level; good ECs; elite summer programs
@HSLoser Sounds like you earned your spot and thanks so much for sharing. Fingers crossed I get so lucky, but happy for you.
Thanks @GrusMinion and wish you all the best too!
Has anyone gotten off the waitlist for nursing yet?
Hey Guys, What were ur stats to get off the stern waitlist & what do u think ur waitlist form had an impact if u dont mind sharing?
Spring Term
Accepted to Stern. I will be attending
Asian Male from NJ. 1560 SAT Superscored, 4.7 weighted GPA. ECs were okay, not spectacular, not bad: Lots of band and music (marching, jazz, wind ensemble, pit, area); 4 years Cross Country (I was bad) 4 years Track (I’m kinda okay). President of Environmental Club and VP of Asian American Cultural Club. Some musical arrangements on the side.
I think my waitlist form probably got me in. I wrote about how I wanted to continue my Track career at NYU, and how I worked really hard this year to improve my times. I think it came off as genuine and passionate. I didn’t really write about NYUs programs, just wrote about how much I wanted to go.
Good luck to other hopefuls!
@101steagle Thanks for sharing!! Congrats!!!
Was anyone admitted to Stern for fall?
When?
Has anybody heard from Tandon? Are there any updates? Like Did anybody get in for the fall?
@2000207
I was accepted to Stern, but declined because of $$. Mixed race female from Seattle, WA. 34 ACT, 3.84/4.50 GPA and IB graduate. Strong arts ECs and varsity sports.
I personally don’t think the wait list form had much to do with acceptance, because I turned in the form very close to the May 1 deadline and did not write any additional essays or achievements. I think they mostly look at your original application.
I found this on NYU Admissions Twitter:
Q: Good night. I was wondering if I could get any information regarding the admissions from the wait list (undergraduate 2018). We are really confused. Are there any spots available for CAS? Thank you so much
A: Hi! We don’t anticipate opening up spots to any more waitlisted students, CAS included, in the near future. You can find more information about the waitlist here: https://■■■■/CiCNZcCQj6

What do you guys think? This is it I guess
