NYU ED II 2018 Discussion

Not that long, I think you should only have to wait a little while longer until they process everything.

Iā€™m feeling pretty anxious - my FA hasnā€™t changed yet and I donā€™t know if it will. Waiting is the worst.

Well what school did you apply to and your stats?

Ps. Fa change does not necessarily mean acceptance and vice versa

My TOEFL Score still has not arrived. Would that affects my admission? Iā€™m so anxious about that since I find out sometimes it even spends 1month till itā€™s arrival.

I have an NYU email even though Iā€™m not accepted. Itā€™s from precollege but it never got deactivated. Is that a good sign?

Wait nvm it got deactivated

Donā€™t freak out about FA changes, itā€™s too early to change anyways.

@rogahen Too early huh? Mine changed on Jan. 9th lol

I have an account from precollege too and got an email the other day about some form update. It was for a tuition statement or something and I didnā€™t really know what to make of it, since I havenā€™t been accepted/rejected yet.

I didnā€™t get that  may mean I was rejected

@NYUhopeful1 Donā€™t jump to conclusions man. There is absolutely no definitive evidence about that. And, besides, admissions work in mysterious ways.

Agreed. So mysterious that theyā€™re driving us crazy with the whole FA change deal.

Do yā€™all know if people who apply to Steinhardt can also be put into LSP? NYUā€™s my dream but i doubt Iā€™d attend if I was put in LSP.

Yeah, you could be put in LSP for rejection in Steinhardt, as long as you checked that option on Common App.

sooo, has anyone gotten a financial aid change yet? (besides Outonalimb)

so far, mine still says ā€œaward access not availableā€ :(

@stjohnson Not me, but I still need to submit the ā€œNoncustodial Formā€ for financial aid, so Iā€™m just going to assume thatā€™s why my FA hasnā€™t changed :P

Mine changed but I went to precollege so mine has 3 years on it
